We started out with a want and a need to help our youth get off the streets and get an education. They needed support, motivation and mentors who believed in them, pushed, nurtured and just listen to what they had to say. Then the "Village" and "Family" here at HBCU Sports Summit was created, our mission starts with us, and your assistance. One City at a time, we can not do this alone. It takes a village to raise a child. When you are giving them hope and resources to get to higher education, raising good citizens in our underservered communities, it makes a difference. These children matter, and it starts with us.
